The Rogue Valley Manor, Medford’s premier retirement community is seeking a Lead Receptionist. The Lead Receptionist must be poised, professional, outgoing, customer-focused and able to multi-task. This position is a member of our 'first impression' team, serving both residents and visitors to the Rogue Valley Manor campus.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm.

  • Monitors day-to-day operations to ensure quality service for residents, prospective residents and the public.
  • Maintains good employee relations, ensures a productive and efficient staff. Interviews prospective employees with Director. Trains and schedules new reception staff and assists Coordinator with employee performance appraisals.
  • Responsible to update front desk manual, in order to ensure efficient operation of front desk.
  • Provides service to residents and screens all visitors/public entering building.
  • Keeps office supplies stocked
  • Updates several resident databases including myRVM.
  • Sends and receives faxed documents for residents. Records information.
  • Checks guests into guest room, prepares guest room tickets, accepts and records payment.
  • Answers phones, acts as receptionist for front desk and provides information to caller or directs the call to the appropriate staff or resident.
  • Sorts, distributes, re-addresses daily mail the mailman is unable to deliver, forwards mail when necessary, mails packages. Updates in-house and USPS mailboxes. Handles the business mail per the Policy.
  • Responsible for coordinating with other departments’ memos and other various items that need to be communicated to residents or employees.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Resident Services Coordinator or the Director of Resident Services


  • Two (2) years’ experience in clerical office work, reception, scheduling, or a related field.
