This internship is an exciting opportunity for a currently enrolled student to gain firsthand experience with the Accounting team for a multi-state retirement living organization. This position will gain an understanding of the processes performed within an Accounting office. To develop skills in creating and analyzing a financial statement, a budget, and compiling information for the external auditors.
Job responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
The ideal candidate will possess an attention to detail and accuracy. Hours will be based on department need and availability of intern. The position is temporary and nonexempt requiring a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week. Work hours shall remain flexible to meet the needs of the communities, programs, their staff, and operations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or in school to get one. Accounting or Financial degree preferred but not required. Classes in a related field preferred.
