    Pacific Retirement Services, a leader in the housing industry (primarily senior living), is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our talented and hardworking Community Housing team.     This position will provide on-site maintenance. Responsible to uphold PRS’s core values of excellence, innovation, integrity, stewardship, compassion, and collaboration in fulfilling all job duties

    This position is located at Fairview Retirement Community in Fort Worth, Texas.

    • Perform all job duties and tasks under the department’s policy on Customer Service.   
    • This position will provide after-hours overall campus maintenance coverage for the community.
    • Provide first-response to such maintenance related issues; but not limited to:
      • Life-Fire, Safety
      • Plumbing leaks
      • Physical Plan
      • HVAC
      • Electrical problem
    • Performs basic minor repairs and preventative maintenance to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, hardware, and safety systems.
    • Repairs, maintains maintenance supplies, tools, equipment. Maintains the Maintenance shops in an orderly fashion.
    • Performs minor carpentry repair and small project work as may be directed.



    • Skills and experience in electrical, plumbing, and general building repair.
    • Skills and experience in the operation, repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
    • Ability to use good judgement and provide accurate information when required during first response issues.
    • Ability to use ladders and basic hand tools to complete minor work orders as assigned.
    • Ability to fill out forms accurately.
    • Ability to work safely and take proper safety precautions as required to complete assigned tasks.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable under the corporate insurance carrier.
