    URC is looking for an individual to assist the Activity Program Leader in administering all recreational programs in the Health Care Center, Memory Care Center and Assisted Living Facility. Supports volunteers, assists in program planning, conducts exercise programs, leads activities, and ensures accurate charting of activities for State compliance. This position is part time with benefits.


    Pre-employment testing includes drug testing, fingerprint background check, reference checks and medical examination.

    • Responsible for the proper care and use of supplies and equipment.
    • Complies with safety standards.
    • Provide Health Care Center residents with individualized in room activities for sensory stimulation.
    • Conducts activities in Health Care Center.
    • Assist residents as needed in opening and reading mail.
    • Assist with facility-wide programs as requested.





    • Ability to coordinate and lead a specialized activity, some experience with subject activity preferred.
    • Ability to understand oral and/or written activities.
    • Must have knowledge of Health Center activities to assist residents in their activities usually resulting from a college education, equivalent experience or certification in a specific area.
    • Must be able to use good judgement and work independently toward goals as defined by the Health Center Administrator.
    • Job will require interactions with residents and staff. Interaction on occasion will include family members, trustees and outside community members dealing with resident issues.
