    The Web Developer position is located in our Central Office, which is located in Medford, OR.

    Responsibilities

    The Web Developer is responsible for building and maintaining websites, hand-coding HTML, JavaScript, CSS and PHP to support our digital marketing strategies.  In addition, the Web Developer is expected to perform the full range of duties required to support the digital marketing initiatives that include the following:

    • Update and maintain websites while improving the quality and appearance of the content on PRS and all PRS-affiliated and -managed community websites.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital marketing plans.
    • Team with copywriters to create content strengthen SEO and drive web-based inquiries.
    • Provide hosting oversight of all PRS and all PRS-affiliated and -managed community websites.
    • Create reports of analytics and other performance metrics.
    • Support digital signage and all PRS-affiliated and -managed community intranet efforts as needed.
    • Collaborate on cross-platform digital marketing projects including email marketing, website management, landing page creation, and marketing automation.
    • Identify opportunities to evolve the use of web and digital marketing technologies and best practices.

    Qualifications

     

    • Requires an advanced knowledge of web development, usually a result of formal technical training, higher education, and/or 4 or more years of experience in this field.
    • Also requires prior experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP. Proven experience with Content/Web Management Systems, a working knowledge of October CMS is preferred. Knowledge of SEO principles.
    • Experience monitoring changes in Google algorithms and updates.
    • Must have advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite, namely InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, namely Word and PowerPoint, and familiar with Excel.
    • Knowledge of digital marketing and platforms. Effective problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to assess situations, evaluate options, and collaborate on decisions.
