    University Retirement Community, the premier upscale senior living community in Davis, is now accepting applications for a part-time nutritional aide position. University Retirement Community is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Davis, California. Residents enjoy comfortable, carefree lifestyles in private, pet-friendly apartment or cottage homes, where they have the security of knowing a comprehensive continuum of care is available on campus, should their health care needs change. 


    This is a benefitted part-time position, with over 30 hours worked per week. This position will have shifts ranging from Monday - Sunday; both AM and PM are needed. You will be assembling meals for residents in our skilled nursing facility and ensuring accurate, safe, and timely service of those meals.

    Prior 1 year of similar work experience is recommended.

    • Ability to be self-directed and detail-oriented is a plus.
    • Desire to work as a team is essential.
    • This position requires some knowledge of food safety and sanitation in a facility setting and a comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
    • Ability to understand oral and written communication in English is essential.

    • Incredible attention to detail in regards to food, menus, diet orders.
    • Retirement community experience a plus
    • You should also be comfortable interacting with staff, other departments and URC residents. You need to be presentable, well spoken, and truly understand customer service.
