    The Position

    Our Medical Assistants perform initial patient triage, registration, administrative services, and assist with direct patient care. The Medical Assistant plays a key role in our clinical care team as support to our clinicians and a trustworthy patient advocate. Our preferred candidate has an understanding of, and passion for the health and wellness needs of seniors.


    • Completes all prescription refill requests as prescribed by the providers.
    • Electronic Medical Record chart preparation and upkeep.
    • Understands all aspects of the Electronic Medical Record and is able to provide coverage for our Clinic Care Coordinator and other Medical Assistants.
    • Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks; checks in patients, assists in obtaining patient histories, take vital signs, prepares charts, and assists with medical examinations.
    • Performs routine specialized procedures.
    • Maintains stocks of medicines and medical supplies as necessary.
    • Educates and advises patients on specified medical issues within established parameters.


    • Medical Assistant Certificate with a minimum of one year experience in a healthcare field preferred.
    • Knowledge of patient care charts, patient histories.
    • Basic competence with computers, experience using EPIC preferred.
