    Trinity Terrace is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that has been serving Fort Worth seniors for more than 100 years. Trinity Terrace offers care and support in various areas such as Independing Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing and we are very proud of our history, our established reputation for excellence, and our community’s long-standing financial stability. 


    We are currently seeking a full-time Wellness/Fitness Coordinator to assist with our wellness program activities in our community.  


    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  Might include an occasional weekend shift as needed.  


    The Wellness/Fitness Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and organizing campus-wide special wellness events. Coordinate and train volunteers for Wellness Programs and publicity to residents. Will oversee aquatics program. Must be available to all residents for program assistance. Assures that the quality of life for all residents will be enhanced through wellness.  Specific responsibilities include:

    • Maintaining certifications to enable instruction of various fitness classes such as water aerobics, yoga, balance and others as needed.
    • Schedule outside contract instructors as required
    • Initiate and maintain good public relations with the community at large and residents to build excitement for the program
    • Create and coordinate programs with the residents focusing on the 6 Dimensions of Wellness
    • Maintain documentation for all wellness activities and review class attendance
    • Conducts personal fitness and health assessments with residents and staff to determine initial fitness qualifications
    • Provides introductory personal training appointments to residents and staff, including, but not limited to, equipment workouts, aquatic exercises, yoga, etc.
    • Remain current with all new laws and state regulation changes
    • Oversee and help develop all monthly fitness and wellness calendar events and programs
    • Manage pool regarding scheduling and staffing
    • Manage all wellness equipment and programs
    • Attend professional conferences and workshops. Must enjoy working as part of a team and with older adults. Able to drive the company van for resident outings as required. Knowledge and class experience with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s is a plus
    • Other duties as assigned 


    • Requires a current Lifeguard Training Certificate
    • Requires current Standard First Aid Certificate
    • Requires current CPR including AED Essential.
    • Requires certification thru the American Senior Fitness Association or ACSM Health & Fitness Instructor (or equivalent.)
    • Must have the ability to coordinate and lead a specialized activity.
    • Must have some experience with subject activity preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fitness/wellness role with a proven track record of creating, running and managing wellness programs is strongly preferred.
    • Requires the ability to communicate with, and lead residents through an activity.
    • Experience working with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s patients/clients is highly desired
    • Requires the ability to understand oral and/or written activities.
    • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license, and be insurable Trinity Terrace insurance carrier
