    We have an opening for an Activities Assistant (Full time)


    Work schedule: Sunday - Thursday

    Responsibilities


    • Assists the Activities Supervisor in administering recreation/wellness programs in Assisted Living.

    • Conduct activities and maintain the highest quality of programs in the Assisted Living area to meet the needs of the resident population.

    • Support and Assist Activities and Wellness Program for Independent Living and Memory Care, as needed. 



    • Comply with all safety standards.

    • Be available to residents when they need assistance with recreation activities.

    • Create, distribute, and implement the monthly Assisted Living newsletter, activity calendar, and residents lists.

    • Assist with and/or lead variety of classes such as: activities, exercise and wellness for residents

    • Maintain documentation for all recreation activities in Assisted Living (BEO’s, Invoices, Maintenance Connect requests)

    • Work with internal departments (dining, facilities, resident services, etc.) to assist/coordinate meeting setups, room reservations and food/beverage setups

    • Assist with off campus excursions for Assisted Living residents.

    • Implement additional recreational programs as requested by Activities Supervisor and/or Wellness Director.

    • Fill in AL Front Desk as needed.

    Qualifications



    • Experience in a social wellness or recreation programs for older adults. Familiar with state regulations in regard to activities requirements.



    • First Aid and CPR certified desired.
