    Pacific Retirement Services, a non-profit leader in the senior living/hospitality industry, is seeking a Program Coordinator (RSVP) to join our Community Volunteer Network team.  This individual will provide assistance, organization, planning and support as needed to the CVN Executive Director and RSVP volunteers.

    Responsibilities can include but are not limited to the following:

    • Maintain a workable system for registering, orienting, processing, and placing RSVP volunteers; maintain RSVP volunteer files.
    • Maintain RSVP volunteer station files and ensure all Memorandums of Understanding are current.
    • Responsible for all aspects of completing RSVP Accounts Payable on a monthly basis.
    • Assist with the compilation of information for, and work with the Executive Director in the preparation of, RSVP grant proposals and required funding reports.  
    • Assist with RSVP volunteer recognition events, functions, and other special projects as requested by the Executive Director.
    • Assist the Executive Director and Sponsor Liaison in fundraising activities as needed.        
    • Develop newsletters with the Executive Director to be circulated to the RSVP volunteers and Board members.
    • Assist the Executive Director in developing and maintaining a public relations and publicity program which promotes community support and recognition of RSVP, including the use of social media.


    • Must have well developed verbal and written communication skills and possess experience in independent problem solving.
    • Non-profit experience a plus. Experience working with volunteers preferred. 
    • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and database applications.
    • Job role requires regular interaction with staff, volunteers, and funding and interacting agencies representatives.
    • Must have excellent communication skills, and use these with tact and diplomacy.
