    Saratoga Retirement Community is a CCRC campus including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and a 94 bed skilled unit. Campus has a diverse team of RNs, LVNs, Social Workers, and support staff to serve both our residents as well as the community at large. The Assisting Living Department includes over 90+ residents in a professional and dynamic setting.

     

    We currently have an opening for an Assisted Living Director (Full time).

    Responsibilities

    The Assisted Living Director is responsible for the 24/7 leadership and operations of Assisted Living Department. This is an exempt, full time position which requires ability to remain flexible with work hours to meet the needs of the department's operation.

    • Supervises employees, including scheduling, training, assigning work, approving overtime, hiring, firing, evaluating performance, counseling and administering discipline. 
    • Treats staff equitably, promotes a safe and harmonious workplace and works to reduce staff injuries.
    • Responsible for all operations of the Assisted Living and Memory Care department.
    • Remains current on State and Federal rules and regulations, including Title 22 which pertains to Assisted Living.
    • Develops and administers policies and procedures to assure that the care, health, and safety needs of the residents are being met.

    Qualifications

    • Current California LVN or RN license.
    • Have or will attain R.C.F.E certification.
    • 3 - 5 years Supervisory experience in long term care of related field.
    • Knowledgeable in the development and use of service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices, fire and life safety, resident rights, and behavior management and documentation practices.
