Mirabella Seattle has an opening for a Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. Your passion for baking, recipe creation and scratch baking is desired. The Pastry Chef produces and supervises production of all baked goods and desserts served in the resident community.
The Pastry Chef produces and supervises the production of all baked goods, desserts, and any other pastry production at the community. Strong skills in cake production and decorating, pies, tarts, upscale a la carte dessert production, quick breads, and breakfast pastries are essential. This position involves managing inventory, ordering product, writing standardized recipes, and management of a small team.
This position requires detailed and concentrated knowledge of baking in both upscale and high production kitchens, strong cleanliness and organizational skills. Prior experience working as a Pastry Chef (1-2 years) or Pastry Assistant (2-3 years) preferred.
