University Retirement Community in Davis is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in our newly renovated Skilled Nursing Facility to provide patient care and oversee patient care delivered by nursing staff. This role is a full-time position with health benefits, working the evening shift from 3:00pm-11:30pm on a rotating 4-2 schedule.
University Retirement Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Davis, California. Our campus consists of Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care apartments, as well as a Skilled Nursing and Rehab facility.
Our Skilled Nursing Facility cares for 37 residents and is located within a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Davis, California. We provide compassionate Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for individuals who are temporarily or permanently in need of our services. Residents are provided with meals and accommodations, nursing care, and a full activities program. Residents also have access to specialized services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, laboratory and diagnostic services, music therapy and restorative nursing care.

Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment, which will be conducive to the best interest and welfare of the patients.
Set up and pass medications as needed, observing the rights of medication administration.
Maintain working knowledge of patient conditions at all times.
Review 24 hour reports and other pertinent nursing documentation from previous shifts.
Supervise the work of Certified Medication Aides and Certified Nursing Aides.
Maintain accurate and complete records of nursing observations and care.
Provide nursing care in accordance with physician orders and appropriate nursing techniques/procedures.
Recognize and interpret symptoms/change of condition and report patient's condition accurately
Other duties as assigned.
Comfortable interfacing with our resident population, able to deliver superb customer service, flexible with work schedules, effectively communicate with residents and fellow staff, maintain confidentiality, and possess good organizational skills.
