    We currently have an opening for a Facilities Engineer (Full time)

    Schedule: Monday – Friday (occasional weekends as needed)

    Hours: 8am- 4:30pm

    Responsibilities

    Performs maintenance and highly specialized repairs or improvements to the building and equipment. 

    • Performs major and minor inspections, all preventative maintenance and repairs of Closed Circuit Cooling Towers, Fire Pump System, and 3 Generators.
    • Performs pool chemical testing, major and minor inspections, all preventative maintenance and repairs of Pool Equipment. 
    • Performs major and minor inspections and maintenance, repairs general electrical, general plumbing, lighting, hardware, TV, locks, and safety systems.
    • Performs inspection, maintenance, and repairs of and to the campus lock, entry systems, doors, and related hardware.  Also maintains key inventory and control systems.
    • Provides emergency repairs to facility and equipment as needed.
    • Repairs and maintains all maintenance supplies, tools and equipment and keeps the Facility Services workshop in an orderly fashion.

    Qualifications

    • Skills and experience specialized in one or more of the following trades: locksmithing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/mechanical, cooling towers, generators, fire pumps and general building repair.
    • Skills in the operation, repair, and maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
    • Knowledge of the chemicals used for pool maintenance.
    • Ability to read and understand label instructions.
    • Ability to fill out forms accurately.
    • Able to use good oral and written communication skills.
    • Possess a valid California driver's license, and be insurable with the corporate insurance carrier.
    • Knowledge of telephone, TV and computer systems.
