    We currently have an opening for a Facilities Engineer (Full time)

    Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

    Hours: 9am- 5pm

    Responsibilities

    Job duties:

    • Performs basic minor repairs and preventative maintenance to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, hardware, TV, and safety systems.
    • Basic electrical
    • HVAC knowledge
    • Minor repair, maintenance and operation of some swimming pool equipment may be required.

     

    Maintenance:

    • Basic knowledge and understang of electrical, plumbing, and general building repair.
    • Experience in the operation, repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
    • Excellent customer service skills and good judgment in providing accurate information when required during first response issues.
    • Ability to use ladders and basic hand tools to complete minor work orders as assigned. Requires a valid driver’s license, and be insurable under corporate insurance carrier.

    Communication Systems:

    • Working knowledge of Mitel phone system
    • IP phones
    • POTS
    • ISDN
    • Windows commands
    • PC building and upgrading
    • CAT5/6 data network
    • Data Switches
    • Basic knowledge of Fiber lines

    Qualifications

    • Experience in electrical, plumbing, and general building repair.
    • Experience in the operation, repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
    • Ability to use good judgement and provide accurate information when required during first response issues.
    • Ability to use ladders and basic hand tools to complete minor work orders as assigned.
    • Ability to fill out forms accurately.
    • Ability to work safely and take proper safety precautions as required to complete assigned tasks.
    • Possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable under the corporate insurance carrier.
