    We are currently seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) in our Assisted Living area to provide oversight to all nursing services and patient care.  The Nurse Manager will perform nursing assessments and address medical and emotional needs of all Capitol Lakes Terraces (AL) residents.

    The Nurse Manager is responsible for:

    • Care Operations: Provides various care related services to Terraces residents and oversees all nursing operations on a daily basis

    • Regulation Compliance and Accreditation: Assures that Capitol Lakes complies with all state and federal      health regulations on a daily basis and maintains all accreditation requirements.

    • Supervisory Responsibility: Acts as a leader and manager of assigned positions; ensuring productivity, efficiency and accuracy in work performed.

    • Performance, Professionalism and Professional Development: Maintains professional presence when representing Capitol Lakes; exhibits degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior and appearance. Demonstrates professional development/skills competency in all activities.

    • Safety & Security: Complies with Capitol Lakes established safety rules and practices.

    • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse within the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
    • Leadership/management experience preferred.
    • Requires a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience; at least 1 year experience in long-term care strongly preferred. 
    • Previous experience as a CNA or Resident Assistant helpful.
    • Familiar with organization, functions, policies, regulations and procedures of a Medical Clinic/skilled nursing facility as they relate to nursing services.
