    In an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture this position will perform maintenance, repairs and minor improvements to buildings and equipment. Position may be assigned to a specific division within the Facility Services Department.

    Responsibilities

    • Other job duties and tasks as assigned, inclusive but not limited to the additional categories listed in this job description.
    • This position may provide after-hours overall campus maintenance coverage.
    • Provides supervision and assistance as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
    • Assists in the scheduling of Maintenance and PM work orders
    • Assists in training of Maintenance Technicians
    • As directed by the Security Dispatcher, provide first-response to such maintenance related issues; but not limited to; Life-Fire, Safety; Plumbing leaks; Physical Plant, Boiler, HVAC Alarms; Electrical problems; etc.
    • Relays accurate information to the SCR during first-response maintenance issues.
    • Repairs and maintains maintenance tools and equipment. Responsible in keeping repair shops in an orderly fashion.
    • Performs basic minor repairs and preventative maintenance to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, hardware, TV, and safety systems. Minor repair, maintenance and operation of some swimming pool equipment may be required.
    • Performs minor carpentry repair and small project work as may be directed.
    • May be asked to perform special assignments according to skills and experience.
    • Leads Maintenance staff in special projects as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

    Qualifications

     

    Must possess valid OR driver's license and be insurable under corporate insurance carrier.
