    We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Tech II (Full time).

    Schedule: Monday – Friday

    Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

    Performs maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements to Saratoga Retirement Community’s buildings, grounds and equipment.

    • Keeps all interior and exterior fixtures in good working order to include:  handrails, woodwork, light fixtures, plumbing systems, entrance doors, safety devices, including alarm systems, etc.
    • Performs preventative maintenance work on various types of equipment such as washers, dryers, and kitchen equipment.  As well as plumbing electrical, ventilation, heating and air conditioning equipment in both buildings. 
    • Troubleshoots failures in any of the mechanical systems.
    • Helps residents hang pictures, mount objects in apartments, installs grab bars, changes light fixtures, etc.
    • Performs minor repairs and maintenance to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, hardware, TV,  and safety systems.
    • Assists in doing repairs and maintenance to major equipment for SRC Campus including emergency generators. 
    • Repairs and maintains maintenance supplies, tools and equipment.
    • Maintains the Maintenance shops in an orderly fashion.
    • Patches and paints apartments in preparation of move-ins after a move-out.  Paints and repairs corridors, windows, and common areas of the facility.


    • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment.
    • Knowledge of rules and regulations for working in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
    • Understand the life safety rules needed to perform tasks and maintenance safely in a Skilled Nursing Facility
    • Must understand and perform inspections. Complete documentation for compliance on time and schedule.
