    *Pre-employment testing includes drug testing, fingerprint background check, reference checks, TB test and physical examination.

    Responsibilities

    • Driving vehicles to transport residents and guests on the campus and to and from surrounding areas.
    • Inspect vehicles to check for any malfunctions or deficiencies.
    • Perform minor preventative maintenance and service on vehicles needed for the safety and convenience of our residents.
    • Maintain upkeep of the vehicle; washing vehicle, fill gas tank, and cleaning the interior on a regular basis.
    • Complete event and program set ups on time.
    • Assist residents on and off the bus.
    • Be knowledgeable of emergency protocol and act calm during emergency situations.

    Qualifications

    • CA Commercial Class B Driver’s License WITH Passenger Endorsement (24#)
    • Clean driving record
    • Commercial vehicle driving experience
    • Lifting capabilities; up to 50 lbs
    • ADA training preferred
    • Knowledge of proper safety protocols when transporting ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents
