The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Preceptor provides person-centered, individualized direct care to the long term and/or temporary resident. Performs the duties of a nursing assistant as assigned by the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse on duty. Is accountable for all patient care given during shift. Responsible to adhere to all nursing care standards. Identifies orientation and competency needs, collaborate with the Preceptor Coordinator to develop a plan to meet orientation and competency needs during the preceptor period with the preceptee.
