  • Coordinates and conducts activities in the Health Care Center, Memory Support and Assisted Living.
  • Coordinates and conducts in-room programs with residents in the Health Care Center, Memory Support and Assisted Living.
  • Ensures accurate charting of all Health Care Center, Memory Support and Assisted Living residents activities to meet State compliance.
  • Responsible for the proper care/cleaning and use of supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinates, facilitates and encourages residents to attend all off campus bus excursions for Health Care Center, Memory Support and Assisted Living.
  • Collaborates with the Activity Director in creating and administering activity goals.
  • Utilize Activity Department laptop for assessments, care plans, etc.
  • Provides assistance to the Activity Director in the supervision of volunteer program.
  • Works with Activity Director to create and maintain appropriate Activity Calendars to meet State and Federal Requirements.
  • Complete all resident assessments according to State and Federal requirements.
  • Works with Activity Director on behalf of purchases and maintain all necessary supplies for resident activities.
  • Must participate in ongoing and appropriate training beneficial to residents in Health Care, Memory Support, and Assisted Living.
  • Works with Activity Director to develop and plan activities to meet the ongoing needs
  • of residents in the Health Care Center, Memory Support and Assisted Living.


  • Certification required at time of hire or via online course January 2020
  • Ability to coordinate and lead specialized activity.
  • Ability to understand oral and/or written activities.
  • Experience in a social wellness or recreation programs for older adults. Familiar with state regulations in regard to activities requirements.
  • First Aid and CPR certified desired.
