Holladay Park Plaza is a modern, upscale retirement community in the Lloyd District. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an Executive Chef or equivalent position to coordinate and manage all culinary activities for our four dining venues. Our residents and guests enjoy a fine dining experience and the ambiance of our beautiful dining room with spectacular views of Lake Union, the Space Needle and the Seattle skyline.
The successful candidate will have the ability to operate effectively in a diverse environment while maintaining a positive, respectful, productive and compliant work environment in accordance with State and company policies and objectives. Equally important is a passion for food, a creative flair, and a gift for sharing the wonders of cuisine with others. The position also requires excellent leadership skills, a strong culinary management background, and a solid track record. Must have a creative palate with a sense of current dining trends as well as experience managing and developing large teams. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper storage and handling procedures is required.
Responsibilities will include purchasing, creative menu and recipe development, control of food & labor costs, the development and monitoring of systems to maintain daily operations.

A ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is required. A Culinary Arts degree is preferred.
