The Rogue Valley Manor is seeking a 32-hour/week RN to become part of our care team in and our new state-of-the-art Memory Care wing.  At The Rogue Valley Manor, we have fostered a workplace culture of professional and personal growth, while working in an environment where resident and employee health and happiness matter. What you’ll be doing: You will be a leader to staff and supporter of residents and their loved ones. You will help to ensure that residents receive person-centered, individualized, and clinically competent care, assuring that services are appropriate to meet residents’ needs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will utilize your clinical expertise in providing direct nursing care as needed. You will be responsible for change of condition assessments, service planning, and the timely investigation and appropriate response to incidents impacting resident wellbeing. As part of our management team, you will oversee the care and services provided in your neighborhood, the home of up to 20 residents. You will be the onsite supervisor who supports and develops the team of medication aides working within your assigned neighborhood.  You will join the team in sharing after-hours call as part of a rotation with other facility nursing and management staff.

About you: You are a compassionate person with a passion for supporting the aging population, specifically those with memory impairing illness and disease. Registered Nurse (RN) license from accredited nursing program, school or university. One (1) year of nursing experience, especially in long term care. Demonstrated understanding of functions, organization, policy, regulations and procedures of a long-term care/skilled nursing facility. Current and valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification. (AZ: Basic Life Support and Food Handler’s card is also required.)
