Home Care Aide  HCA - Full Time & Part Time Positions Available 


The Home Care Aide (HCA) provides person centered, individualized direct care to long term and/or temporary Independent Living residents at Mirabella.


Mirabella Seattle, a part of Pacific Retirement Services, is a beautiful not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in the heart of downtown Seattle. We have a 46 bed SNF (5 star rated) located on the second floor and accepts Medicare, HMO, and Private Insurance patients. Outside of our SNF and AL floors, Mirabella is home to more than 290 IL residents who enjoy a high-end resort style living experience.

  • Adhere to state and federal regulations
  • Maintain and promote resident rights, privacy and dignity.
  • Promote consistent awareness of safety and follow up with any identified safety risks.
  • Communicate with residents, families and team member respectfully and effectively; the ability to individualize verbal and non-verbal communication to accommodate for resident communication deficits.
  • Adhere to the HCA scope of practices as set forth by the WA State Department of Health and accompanying WAC’s.
  • Assist residents as needed in all activities of daily living (ADL), using guidelines as set forth in the Service Plan:
    • Review Service Plan for residents who are new to you before beginning care and upon returning to work after time off to remain current
    • Organize workload to complete tasks and allow participation in ADLS without appearing to rush the resident. Provide assistance in a compassionate manner
    • Observe residents and report changes immediately to In-Home Care Manager
    • Provide accurate written documentation of care provided.
    • Individualize care to accommodate resident preferences, abilities and needs
  • Complete assigned duties such as, but not limited to; activities of daily living, showers, socialization time with residents, mealtime duties, maintaining neat resident spaces, medication reminders, replenishing supplies, providing clean linen, and transporting residents to appointments.
  • Provide a timely response to resident needs and request
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with team members, both departmental and ancillary, assisting with programs and activities as needed.
  • Develop knowledge on state and federal regulations and community policies and procedures.      
  • Attend all required in-service trainings, including annual & quarterly retraining as set forth by State and Federal guidelines and facility protocols.
  • Contributes to the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives within Mirabella.


  • Certification by WA State Department of Health as a Home Care Aide is required
