We are seeking a compassionate and dependable full or part time Social Services Director to provide exceptional resident-centered care for our seniors! What you’ll be doing:

You are responsible for the psychosocial health of all Health Center residents, determining admission acceptance, and resident assessments.  You will be the community appointed resident advocate for Health Center residents and are responsible for ensuring community and company-wide practices are in residents’ best interests. You will work with residents to identify any psychosocial needs which affect their well-being, mood and behavior, and develop a plan to minimize or eliminate their psychosocial problems.  

 

About you:

  • Help us keep our seniors safe. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for employment.
  • Any related professional certifications or qualifications per federal or state regulations.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in social work, geriatric care or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology or a related field is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, geriatric care, or a related field or current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by a state accredited program is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of social services laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, medical records and clinical software programs.
