What you’ll be doing:

You will provide routine and special cleaning services throughout the community in an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture.

You will also assist the Environmental Services leadership in coordinating the cleaning activities and training of staff members, and be responsible for miscellaneous assignments necessary to maintain the facility in compliance with appropriate state and federal regulations.

  • Perform routine and special cleaning of residential units at the community, Health Center rooms and assisted living apartments.
  • Clean offices, restrooms, and their fixtures.
  • Lead peers in a positive manner and be a good example to other staff.
  • Assist with room setup for events and inspect for cleanliness of tables and chairs.
  • Provide leadership and assistance to other staff as directed by Environmental Services leadership.
  • Conduct inspections for quality control.
  • Lead housekeeping, laundry and custodial staff in special projects assigned by Environmental Services leadership.
  • Assist in ordering of supplies and daily department activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.


  • One (1) year of experience in housekeeping, custodial, cleaning or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a position in which training and advisory functions were the primary role.
  • Skills in operating and maintaining housekeeping equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of green cleaning solutions, chemicals and pertinent cleaning supplies.
  • Ability to read and understand labels. Ability to fill out forms and keep accurate records.
