Overview

Pacific Retirement Services is implementing a new ERP financial system and we are looking for an ambitious and collaborative software engineer to  join our team. The position works directly with our Director of Applications and our Business Systems Analysts to support the ERP system and the company at large.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key technical team member during the configuration and implementation of a newly-selected financial system:
    • Accounts Payable
    • General Ledger
    • Financial Planning/Budgeting
    • Banking
    • Project Accounting
    • Fixed Assets
  • Collaborate with implementation partner and PRS functional team and IT peers to design, develop, test, document, and support integrations of all types, (ex: EIB, Core Connectors, PICOF/PECI, Studio).
  • Collaborate with implementation partner and PRS functional team and IT peers to design, develop, test, document, and support workflows and various integrations during and after our initial implementation.
  • Design, develop, test, and support complex reports using BIRT or other reporting tools.
  • Assist with the development of a framework and a standard library of Integrations and Workflows with associated data and business rules.
  • Assist with the selection and deployment of configuration management tools (Jira, GitHub, Cloud 9, or other) and functional test practices, employing an industry standard methodology (Agile, DevOps, RAD, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Meet with IT Business Systems Analysts and PRS functional teams to identify requirements.
  • Design and develop integrations, reports, and other deliverables based on those requirements.
  • Interact with software and integration vendor teams to refine technical requirements and test plan.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years developing and supporting workflows and integrations as a member of an implementation or client team within a multi-site enterprise environment
  • Certifications in tools such as: Integration Core, CCTPP and Studio – desirable
  • Familiarity with financial and accounting processes such as budgeting, reporting, general ledger, AR, AP, and exposure to software / systems that support these
  • You love collaborative environments to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
