Our property is currently under construction with a scheduled opening date in the fall of 2020.   Mirabella at ASU is an affiliate of Pacific Retirement Services, which specializes in the operation of non-profit CCRCs and provides support services for all aspects of our communities, including Resident Services.     About the Position: Mirabella ASU is seeking a dynamic and energetic Resident Services Director who will, under the direction of the Executive Director, promote a healthy, enriching environment through the management of Resident Services.  A significant responsibility for this position is management of the aging continuum within the framework of Mirabella at ASU‘s mission and core values as well as provide orientation of new residents and update current residents on all services/programs available. In addition, the Resident Services Director evaluates and responds to specific concerns/needs of new/permanent residents, and follows up on those concerns and needs. Overall, this is a great opportunity for a dynamic leader and seasoned communicator to make a big impact in the lives of our residents. This is an exempt full time position that reports directly to the Executive Director.    What You Will Do:   - Collaborate with Executive Director and other members of Executive team to ensure success in meeting and exceeding community goals in operations, human resources, sales and resident care. - Develops, plans and schedules new resident orientation program on a monthly basis. - Responsible for oversight of the Resident Services staff, which includes hiring, training and development, counseling, performance evaluation, functional development and disciplinary action.  The Resident Services Director will also manage, educate, and develop Front Desk, Wellness, Social Services, and Activities/Events. - Schedules, coordinates, and oversees new resident move-ins with resident and other affected departments.  - Advises new residents of insurance options for Medicare supplement policies and long term care policies.  - Works with resident/family/personal representative on permanent transfers to Residential Living or the Health Center.  - Acts as an advisor to family on disposition of effects and vacating of Independent Living or Residential Living unit.  - Works with resident/family members/personal representative in making application for Assistance Fund.  - Serve as Chair of Resident Evaluation Committee.  Schedules and coordinates Town Hall meetings for residents as needed. - Manage Private Duty Aide program. - Participate in resident and family education and counseling. - Coordinate move-in activity for new residents and facilities a smooth transition into the community. - Facilitate resident satisfaction surveys. - Develop budgets for assigned area on an annual basis and manages departmental expenses and revenue accordingly. Monitor department budget throughout the year to ensure any variances are identified, rectified and justified as necessary. - Manage emergency situations based on the company’s Emergency Action Guide. - Perform other job duties as required or assigned. Requirements: - A minimum of one (1) year housekeeping and cleaning experience is strongly preferred. - Skills in operating housekeeping equipment and tools - Knowledge of solutions, chemicals, and pertinent cleaning supplies - Ability to read and understand label instructions - Some weekends & holidays may be required on occasion.
