Capitol Lakes, a beautiful and vibrant Continuing Care Retirement Community located a block off the capitol square in downtown Madison, is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Tech to assist with promoting a culture of customer service on the Capitol Lakes campus by proactively performing maintenance, repairs, and improvements to our four buildings and equipment.   Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Days (7:00-3:30 p.m.)  plus coverage every 3rd weekend.  PayActiv (weekly payment option) also available!   Along with general maintenance, repairs and improvement projects within our community, the Maintenance Tech must have the ability to problem solve and work independently in the completion of work orders and as part of a team are key. Review all resident bills to verify all charges are captured. Monitor AR aging and reporting any potential problems. - Enter all charges to residents as it relates to the Resident Billing module. Complete resident statement processing, handle sensitive billing issues, and make collection attempts. - Enter all admissions, discharges and census changes for the community. Review census for all levels of care in the facility including IL, AL and HC prior to billing to verify accuracy. - Distribute and balance petty cash on a daily basis for reimbursement of expenses, cash handling from dining and concierge including monitoring and verifying accuracy of till amounts/counts, replenish petty cash supply when necessary. - Balance daily cashier log at end of month and daily deposits submitted to PRS for reconciliation to General Ledger. Maintain and complete the cash management workbook. Miscellaneous: - Print and distribute financial drafts to Executive Director and Department Directors. Assist with variance reports and budget process. The facility is also a level 2 healthcare facility. Our Building Engineer will have experience in complying with and maintaining federal rules and regulations for CMS, state and city Fire Marshall, and NFPA.   This dynamic position largely focuses on project management as well as ongoing maintenance and improvement of building equipment.  In addition, this position should have knowledge and experience on most of the following systems: - HVAC web based building management software program. - 2 pipe and 4 pipe hydronic and pneumatic heating and cooling system. - Chiller and hot water boiler systems / pumps / motors / valves. - Coordinate contractor repairs as well as upgrades. - Emergency generators. Coordinate annual inspections and testing as per NFPA regulations with contractors and regulatory agencies. - Common area air handlers and individual fan coil units in apartments. - Swimming Pool and Spa circulation and filtration systems, water chemistry maintenance. - Fire control panel / fire monitoring and fire suppression systems.
