Mirabella at ASU, a modern, upscale retirement community in downtown Tempe, is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Tech to perform maintenance, repairs and minor improvements to the community’s building(s) and equipment in an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture. Painter experience is a plus!   Work Schedule:  Days, flexible schedule options.  (Weekend availability is helpful. ) - Want to learn more about who we are?  Check out our YouTube video! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCewYwZVnFNcPq6xFGHyW15g What You Will Do The Maintenance Tech performs minor repairs and basic maintenance to electrical, plumbing, lighting, hardware and a variety of painting duties (including daily preventative maintenance plan, turnover painting, drywall patching and repair) as well as light wood repairs.  The Maintenance Tech also repairs and maintains maintenance supplies, tools and equipment and will assist with keeping the maintenance shop in an orderly fashion.  May be asked to perform special assignments and provide response to campus alarms and emergencies as directed. May provide “first responder” duties to building alarms and emergencies in conjunction with security team.  Successful candidates for these positions will have strong attention to detail and possess strong initiative while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.       What You Need - One (1) year of experience in carpentry, general building repair or a related field. - Skills in the operation, repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools. Ability to use ladders and basic hand tools. - Ability to fill out forms accurately. - CPR/AED and First Aid certification is preferred. - Knowledge of small engine and/or vehicle repair and maintenance is preferred. - Help us keep our seniors safe.
