Ascertain that resident meets technical eligibility for Medicare Part A stay - Greet new resident and family/responsible party and review admission chart. Assist with orientation to facility and communicate necessary preparation with staff. - Conduct initial assessment of resident’s Activities of Daily Living (ADL) needs and documents. Determine ADL score for each observation period.     Trinity Terrace is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Nutritional Services Manager who will work with the Nutritional Services Manager to ensure smooth operation of the dining rooms and oversee Nutritional Services staff in support of or absence of the Nutritional Services Manager. Will also ensure the Nutritional Services staff is providing optimum service and will see that all established policies and procedures of Nutritional Services are adhered to.   Work Schedule:  Sunday-Thursday, 6am-3pm.  Days vary.  Must have flexibility to work some weekend and holiday shifts as needed.   What You Will Do - Will ensure that all dining rooms are properly set up on the healthcare floors and cleaned and reset afterwards - Assign daily work stations for servers and check each servers side work - Conduct daily pre service to include menu items, training tip of the day, safety tip of the day and stretching exercise. - Ensure that all areas of the dining room and work stations are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. - Take on calls when scheduler is unavailable. - Serve as Scheduler and make sure to communicate with Nutritional Services Manager that your area of responsibility is adequately staffed. - Assist Nutritional Services Manager in doing employee evaluations. - Prepare and discuss disciplinary issues with Nutritional Services Manager. - Must check and initial the posted weekly schedule every week. - Work closely with Trainer on the progress of new staff as you train them on the floor. - If a resident or guest is disappointed or upset over any matter, address needs or concerns immediately and satisfy their concerns. - Organize, process, and record daily meal tickets.
